On February 12, we embarked on a fascinating sensory journey with the presentation of “María Victoria”, an exquisite wine from Bodegas Verum, produced by the talented winemaker Elías López Montero in the mystical region of Patagonia, Argentina.
Led by the renowned Food Designer, Véronique Gladstone, we were immersed in a unique experience, where every sense was invited to explore the journey that took Elías from the lands of La Mancha to the wild valleys of Patagonia.
We begin our tour in Tomelloso, where Elías began his winemaking adventure. Through blindfolds and a symphony of stimuli, we were transported from the 39th Parallel North to the 39th Parallel South, where the similarities of two worlds converge in the magnificent wine called Maria Victoria.
The day was marked by gastronomic harmony, thanks to Veronique Gladstone’s innovative creations, carefully designed to enhance the flavors of this exceptional wine.
“María Victoria” is not only the result of excellent winemaking, but also of a captivating story that brings us closer to Elías’ clear vision of the world of wine. This expressive Malbec invites us on a journey beyond borders, creating a sensory bridge that connects Madrid with Argentina.
We thank Elias and the Verum team for this unforgettable experience, as well as Veronique Gladstone for her exquisite cuisine. Maria Victoria” has left an indelible mark on our senses and in our hearts!
