Miquel Barceló, Cristina Iglesias, Sergio Prego, Juan Uslé, Montserrat Soto, among 14 other prestigious contemporary Spanish artists, came together in 2005 in the first edition of BBVA Contemporáneos “Hasta pulverizarse los ojos”. Alejandra Pizarnik’s verse gave its name to this exhibition that brought together artists who confront her work in a way that could be described as poetic.
The gastronomic experience for the opening of the exhibition managed to create a poem of colors and flavors, and the attendees were able to enjoy themselves “until their mouths were pulverized”.
